General Training Information

To register for the class, please complete the following steps:

Once both your registration form and payment are received, I’ll send you a confirmation email with further details.

I focus on basic manners for pet dogs, and refer out for dogs needing behavior modification for severe aggression and other serious issues.

Basic Manners Group Class: 

This class is 5 weeks long.  We meet once a week on Wednesday evenings.  This class is in a group setting with other dogs present.    

The cost for the entire 5 week series is $150, which includes a training collar (pinch collar fitted to your dog), the training manual (with instructions and homework in case you miss a week of class), plus a bag of training treats. This class is designed for both puppies (who have completed their vaccines) and adult dogs.  This class is not appropriate for dogs that are overly aggressive to people or other dogs. Please contact me for any questions about that.  We cover the following topics:

-Sit
-Lay down
-Come when called
-Walk on a loose leash
-Stay
-Beginning agility
-Socialization

Advanced Manners Group Class:

5 weeks long, meets once a week.

Prerequisite: You must have completed Basic Manners at K-9 Action to attend the Advanced Manners Class.  No exceptions.

$150, which includes a long training line. This class is designed for dogs that have completed the Basic Manners class. This is a more challenging class that is also a lot of fun!

The class covers the following:

-Obedience and life skills with distractions
-Greeting people and other dogs with good manners
-Fun games
-Coming when called with distractions
-Socialization and agility obstacles

 

 

REGISTRATION FORM

  • All dogs must be up to date on the combo vaccination as well as the rabies vaccination. Please provide proof of vaccines. Puppies must be 4 months old and have all of their vaccines before beginning classes.

  • Release WAIVER, ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND AGREEMENT TO HOLD HARMLESS

    I understand that participation in dog training is not without risk to my self, any family members or guests who might attend, and to my dog. Knowing this, I hereby waive and release K-9 Action, Tara Wilson and the owner/s of the property the training is held on from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage suffered as a result of my or my dog’s participation in any class, private lesson, training camp, or other training activity including any damage or injury resulting from the action of any person or dog, or for any accident occurring on the premises or its surroundings. I agree to accept full responsibility for my actions, those of my family or guests and of my dog.
