At K-9 Action, my goal is simple: to provide dependable, personal care for pets and practical support for the families who love them. Whether your dog is staying with us for boarding, you're looking for help with training, or you need someone you can trust to care for your pets and home while you're away, you can feel confident they'll be in experienced, caring hands.

My name is Tara, and K-9 Action is located just north of Reedley in California's Central Valley on our small family homestead. With more than 30 years of hands-on experience working with dogs, every dog in my care is personally looked after by me, with help from my family, in a safe, peaceful environment where they're treated like one of our own.

Whether you're looking for boarding, training, or pet and home sitting, I'd love the opportunity to get to know you and your pets and provide the kind of personal, dependable care you can feel good about.

Services We Offer

Group Dog Training Classes

Our group dog training classes are a fun, supportive way to build a well-mannered, confident dog. Small class sizes allow plenty of individual attention for you and your dog while you learn practical, easy-to-use training methods that build essential skills, trust, and teamwork. We also offer online training options for those who prefer to learn from the comfort of home.

Dog Boarding

Our boarding services are available for everything from overnight visits to extended stays. Your dog will enjoy a secure outdoor kennel in our peaceful country setting, surrounded by citrus trees and farm animals. Cooling misters and fans help keep dogs comfortable on hot days, while electric heating provides warmth on chilly nights. Every guest receives clean, comfortable accommodations and attentive, personalized care throughout their stay.

Pet and Farm Sitting

Pet and Farm Sitting is available in the Reedley area for those who need dependable care while away from home. Once-daily visits can include care for cats, chickens, goats, and other farm animals, as well as watering plants, collecting mail, and basic home check-ins. Every visit is personally provided with more than 30 years of hands-on animal experience, giving you peace of mind that your animals and home are in caring, dependable hands.
