At K-9 Action, our goal is to help families create calmer, happier dogs through clear, practical training and thoughtful, personalized boarding care. With over 30 years of hands-on dog handling experience, we focus on methods that make sense and are easy to carry over into everyday life.

My name is Tara, and K-9 Action is located just north of Reedley in California’s Central Valley on our small, family-run homestead. Every dog in our care is personally looked after by me, with help from my family, in a safe and comfortable environment. We look forward to supporting you and your dog — both at home and here at K-9 Action.

Dog Training

Our group dog training classes are a fun and supportive way to build a well-mannered, confident dog. With limited availability, each class ensures plenty of individual attention for you and your dog. You’ll learn essential skills through positive, practical training methods that build trust and teamwork. We also offer online training for dogs that are more comfortable at home.

Individualized Boarding

Our boarding services accommodate overnight, short-term, and long-term stays. Your dog will enjoy a secure outdoor kennel, a cooling misting system with fans for hot days, electric heating for chilly nights, and a peaceful country setting surrounded by citrus trees and farm animals. We prioritize cleanliness, comfort, and personalized care for every guest.

Home, Pet, and Farm Care

Home, Pet & Farm Care visits are now available in the Reedley area. We offer dependable once-daily visits for cats, chickens, goats, farm animals, plants, mail collection, and basic home check-ins while you’re away. All care is personally provided by a lifelong animal owner and experienced pet care professional.
